So you might have seen the Ch4 documentary 'Old People's Home for 4 Year Olds' where children and older adults spent time together playing and interacting with amazing results. At the end of it the older residents felt happier and a little bit less lonely and seeing as the aims of The Chatty Café Scheme are to reduce loneliness and get people talking we thought we should give it a go.

The first of our Chatter & Play-groups is starting on the 4th May 2018 at Charles Morris House in Failsworth and will continue every Friday morning 10am - 11am.
It is hoped that these sessions will reduce loneliness and isolation for parents and carers as much as the older adults and that there will be lots of benefits to mixing up age groups with tea, toast and songs to bind it all together.

We will update you as to how the play sessions are going and also about any other groups we start.

Thank you to Issie Howard at Housing 21 for supporting us with this!
